REFINING FACIAL OR REMOVAL OF FACIAL ADIPOSITY

Adipose ball Bichat or also known as buccal fat bag is a well-defined anatomical structure in the contour of the cheek and lower and middle region of the face. A proper retreat in oval faces is a decrease in this region with angulation and generates the same luminosity getting a lost prominence of the malar region. Giving to the face a more harmonious, symmetrical and triangular structure.

The surgical procedure is performed by an oral or internal route and, through different manoeuvres, consists in the extraction of this fat bag, thereby improving the appearance of the face. The procedure lasts 1 hour. It is performed under local anaesthesia or sedation, requiring hospitalization for 12 hours in a common room. After surgery, the patient will receive antibiotics, analgesics for 4 days, with full recovery in 7 days.
