RHINOPLASTY - NOSE SURGERY
The nose is a three-dimensional pyramidal structure in the centre of the face.
The surgical procedure aims to reshape the nose by means of different techniques applied, depending on the clinical case, always seeking a concordant result with the rest of the face. As a plastic surgeon, I have knowledge of tactics, technique and above all, an artistic sense. Understanding that one more small change in this structure will produce major changes across the face.
Depending on the clinical case, the surgery lasts 2 hours under general anaesthesia, requiring hospitalization for 24 hours in a common room.
After the procedure, the surgeon will prescribe antibiotics to the patient, analgesics for 4 days; keeping nasal packing gauze for 48 to 72 hours, points and suture plaster splint for approximately 7 days.
Complications: hematoma, infection, irregularities, asymmetries etc.
